Mike Skinner says "it'd sound weird" to make another album with The Streets

'Dry Your Eyes' hitmaker Mike Skinner has revealed that he has no intention of resurrecting The Streets because he thinks a new album would "just sound weird".

Chatting to ShortList magazine about the possibility of a new record, Skinner admitted that the moment has definitely passed and he's not really interested:

"People get it wrong when they think I'm being belligerent about it. If someone asked me to make a Streets album tomorrow, I honestly don't think I could do it. I wouldn't know how to - it's been that long. It'd just sound weird. I'm not sure if people want to hear an instrumental Streets album."
