Watch Voice US coaches including Miley Cyrus cover Aerosmith

This year's US Voice coaches covered Aerosmith as the latest series debuted on Sunday (August 21).

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton joined forces with newbies Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys to perform the band's 'Dream On'.

The performance was dedicated to former Voice contestant Christina Grimmie, who was shot dead earlier this summer.

The show kicked off with Cyrus proclaiming "I'm ready as I can be, I'm TV ready".

The singer was the first coach to press her button, with the US star impressed by 17-year-old Wé McDonald's version of Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good'.

In March, Cyrus said she was looking forward to unearthing new talent on the show.

She said: "I didn't really know what to expect from the show.. I didn't realise how real it was.

"It's about making things your own...Being yourself. You have this platform to bring light to people and to bring hope to people, and I think that's what this show does."
