Country duo Ward Thomas top midweek UK albums chartCountry act Ward Thomas have reached No.1 on the midweek UK albums chart. The duo's new effort 'Cartwheels' has shot straight to the top of the pile. On Monday's (September 5) update, Jamie T's fellow newbie 'Trick' is just 750 units behind at No.2. At No.3 is Barbra Streisand's 'Encore', which drops two places from No.1. Following in fourth place is Wretch 32's new entry 'Growing Over Life', while Divine Comedy debut at No.5 with 'Forever Land'. Other new entries include A Day to Remember, who are in at No.6 with 'Bad Vibrations'. Carpenters' 'The Nation's Favourite Songs' is No.7, while Sophie Ellis-Bextor is No.8 with 'Familia'.
