Lionel Richie reckons a duet with Justin Bieber could be on the cards.

The Canadian has reportedly been dating his model daughter Sofia.

TMZ caught the veteran singer while out and about recently in Beverley Hills and it seems a collaboration could be on the cards.

When asked about the prospect of working with Bieber, Richie said:

"Yeah, that’ll work. We’ll figure it out."

Despite saying he was under "strict orders" not to talk about Bieber and his daughter, the singer said he approves of the Canadian.

Bieber meanwhile recently deactivated his Instagram account after fans posted hate messages on pictures of himself and Sofia Richie.

However, he later reactivated the account.
