Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen has revealed that he's a big fan of Green Day and thinks they're musically "consistent" and always "intense". 

The Boss sat down for a live Q&A interview with Apple on Facebook recently and confessed that he loves the band's songs and approach to their craft:

“Green Day, they make great records and they’re always thoughtful and intense and they have a band that plays great together. My old friends from U2 are still doing just fine. They consistently sound great and are creative. I have an iPod full of things that can’t come to mind right now.”

Earlier this month, Green Day announced details of a full UK tour that will kick off at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on February 5. They will also visit Manchester and London on the jaunt.
