Matt Healy, frontman of The 1975, has teased fans of the band on Twitter by suggesting they will reveal new music next year. 

He took to his official Twitter page much earlier today and shared the following message: "New The 1975 - 2017."

2016 has been great for the band: they were nominated for the Mercury Prize, they will visit Mexico on tour for the first time in early October, and they will round off the year by performing their biggest concert to date at London's O2 Arena.
