Kimberley Walsh, former Girls Aloud member, has revealed that her ex-bandmate Cheryl will make a "brilliant mum".  

Her comments, which she made during an interview with The Sunday People, come at an interesting time because pregnancy rumours are currently swirling around Cheryl and her One Direction boyfriend Liam Payne. 

Walsh told the publication: "She’s really happy right now. And she’ll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children. Both she and Nicola (Roberts) are naturally good with kids.”

Music mogul Simon Cowell, who worked alongside Cheryl on 'The X Factor', made similar observations recently as he told Britain's Daily Mirror that she is "incredible" with kids:

"Cheryl would be an amazing mum. I have seen her with my son Eric and other kids over the years and she is incredible. She is very good with them. I think she is in a good place in her life right now. I had dinner with her a couple of months ago with Liam [Payne] and they were great.
