The group behind the music in the new John Lewis Christmas ad is Vaults

The highly anticipated John Lewis Christmas commercial debuted earlier today and the music chosen for the festive project is great.

This year's offering features a cover of "One Day I'll Fly Away", which was originally recorded by Randy Crawford, from south London electro trio Vaults. The group is currently signed to Virgin EMI and is comprised of vocalist Blythe Pepino, Barney Freeman and producer Ben Vella.

Vaults' track "One Last Night" was included on the soundtrack to 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' and you can check them out on Spotify here

The Bach Choir also recorded vocals on the track and shared the following tweet this afternoon: "Delighted to have played a small part in this - listen out at the end!"
