Black Mirror's Charlie Brooker's extended "San Junipero" playlistCharlie Brooker has shared a 42-track playlist to accompany the incredible 'San Junipero' episode of his cult Netflix series Black Mirror. The episode has quickly become one of the most talked about on social media and it follows the relationship between Kelly and Yorkie, who are tourists in the area. San Junipero, as it turns out, is revealed to be a simulation rather than a place where the consciousnesses of the dead and dying can be uploaded as a way for them to live out eternal youth. The playlist, which can be accessed below, features songs such as "Walk Like An Egyptian" by The Bangles, "Open Your Heart" by Madonna, "Need You Tonight" by INXS, and "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Belinda Carlisle. Brooker recently told Vogue why he set the episode in 1987 and said: “There’s huge nostalgia for me. All the music I said I hated, I secretly loved all of it; T’Pau and all of that. It was a great way for me to indulge in all those guilty pleasures. To go back and revisit all of that music people claimed to hate in 1987.” Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook. Check out the playlist here: Latest 10 Newsdesk News Stories
