Clean Bandit’s Rockabye tops Official Singles Chart: “Thank you so much to everyone”

Congratulations to Clean Bandit, who claim this week’s Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with their latest single Rockabye.

Rockabye - which features rising star Anne Marie and rapper Sean Paul – takes this week’s top spot with 72,000 combined chart sales, made up of 37,000 downloads and 3.5 million streams.

Clean Bandit told OfficialCharts.com: “Thank you so much to everyone who has been listening to this song. Rockabye is a song that means a lot to us and it means even more to us that so many of you are listening to it and liking it. Thank you!”

Rockabye made a big splash on the Top 40 when it was released three weeks ago, debuting at Number 7. Last week, the song climbed to Number 3 before taking pole position today.

Clean Bandit last topped the Official Chart with Rather Be, logging four weeks at the top. Since then they’ve notched up a string of Top 10 hits, including Stronger, Real Love and Tears.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic climbs a place to hit a new peak at Number 5, and Maroon 5’s Don’t Wanna Know ft. Kendrick Lamar rises four places to 7, giving the band their ninth UK Top 10.

Louisa Johnson’s So Good makes a significant gain on this week’s Official Singles Chart, leaping seven places to Number 13, while The Vamps claim their eighth Top 40 hit with All Night ft. Matoma, which vaults 56 places to 24.

Further down, Fifth Harmony’s That’s My Girl rebounds 11 spots to 26, hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd land their first UK Top 40 hit with Black Beatles ft. Guuci Mane at 36, and finally, viral dance sensation Juju On That Beat by Zay Hilfiger & Zayion McCall lifts six places to enter the Top 40 for the first time this week at Number 40.
