Busted's James Bourne struggled to accept band's split for 'about five years'Musician James Bourne has revealed that he felt as though he "didn't have a life" when Busted split back in 2005. He told Heat magazine that being faced with the end of the project was daunting and he didn't know how to handle it because he was so invested: "There's an adjustment thing that goes on and for me it was quite a long time. Your life is on a certain track and the track ends, and it feels like you don't have a life for a little bit, because the life you did have is over." "So I spent a few months in my apartment just playing video games and not really seeing anybody. It probably took about five years actually. I spent a good few years doing other things, but there was still a part of me that thought, 'Hopefully we can do another album'. And it took about five years for me to give up on that and make peace with the fact that it was never going to happen." The band will head out on tour in January and tickets for the jaunt are now on sale. Check out the dates here:
