Beyoncé wins four prizes at Soul Train Awards

Beyoncé was the big winner at this year's Soul Train Awards, with the singer collecting a total of four gongs on the night.

The US star picked up Song of the Year for 'Formation', which also won Video of the Year. Beyoncé also bagged Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Album/Mixtape of the Year for 'Lemonade'.

Kanye West won Best Dance Performance for 'Fade', Chance the Rapper was named Best New Artist and rising star Anderson .Paak got the Centric Certified Award. The event was held on November 6 in Las Vegas, but its winners were only revealed following its TV airing on Sunday (November 27).

  • Rhythm & Bars Award (Formerly Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year) - Fat Joe & Remy Ma feat. French Montana and Infared, All the Way Up
  • Best R&B/Soul Female Artist - Beyoncé
  • Song of the Year - Beyoncé, Formation
  • The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter's Award - Rise Up, written by Andra Day, Jennifer Decilveo (Andra Day)
  • Best Dance Performance - Kanye West (Dance Performance feat. Teyana Taylor) - Fade
  • Best Collaboration - Fat Joe & Remy Ma feat. French Montana and Infared, All The Way Up
  • Lady of Soul Award - Brandy
  • Legend Award - Teddy Riley
