Singer-songwriter John Legend has credited becoming a father with helping him to "write better music".

The 'All Of Me' sensation revealed to Good Morning America that he feels as though a new emotional realm has been unlocked within him since welcoming baby daughter Luna into the world and his creativity has shifted as a result:

"I think [what's different about it is] just growing up. Having been married for a few years, and having a baby, and all those other things, I think it just informs your perspective a bit and it makes you look at the world a little bit differently. It helped me write songs, and be inspired to write better music, I think."
