Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers have confirmed a show at London's Hyde Park in July - their only scheduled European date for the whole of 2017.

The event will take place on July 9 as part of the British Summer Time series, with Stevie Nicks and The Lumineers set to provide support. Tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Friday (December 16).

The show is part of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers' 40th anniversary celebrations. It is only the band's second visit to the UK in 18 years, with the group headlining the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2012.
