Apple Music's Carpool Karaoke spin-off series will feature a number of guest hosts as usual presenter James Corden takes a back seat.

The likes of Chelsea Handler, Seth MacFarlane, John Legend and Billy Eichner will all drive famous faces, with the series spread over 16 episodes. Artists set to feature include Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Metallica and Will Smith.

Speaking at a Television Critics Association event on Monday (January 9), executive producer of Corden's Late Late Show Ben Winston confirmed each guest host would have one episode each. Corden himself will only appear in the Will Smith feature.

Corden added: "I’m still going to see my kid on the weekends. This just became a wonderful platform to see these people in a such an intimate environment. I don’t feel it’s mine."
