Prince owned gold bars worth nearly $1m

New documents have revealed that Prince owned $840,000 (£690,000) worth of gold bars before he died last year.

Estate records have now been released by the Carver County District Court and the Star Tribune has offered some details of what is included in Prince's inventory. It showed that the musician owned 67 10-ounce gold bars.

The documents revealed that Prince's properties were valued at $25.4 million (£20.9 million), while four of his companies, including Paisley Park Enterprises Inc., had $6 million (£4.9 million) between them at the time of his death in April.
