Matt Cardle has won 2010’s X Factor.

The Essex born contestant opened up the final show with a rousing performance of Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’. After making it through to the last two along with Liverpool’s Rebecca Ferguson, Cardle sang Biffy Clyro’s ‘Many Of Horror’, which will now be his debut single.

When it was revealed that he’d won the competition, Cardle was met on stage by the other X Factor finalists as he performed what will be his first official release for the second time of the night.
