The 2017 BRIT Awards ceremony is shaping up to be the hottest night of the year so far as the first group of performers have now been confirmed. 

The event's official Twitter account shared the exciting announcement earlier this morning and revealed that Little Mix, The 1975 and Emeli Sande will be taking the stage on February 22 at London's O2 Arena:

"We're SO excited to announce that @LittleMix, @the1975 and @emelisande will be gracing The #BRITs 2017 with some 🔥🔥🔥 performances 🎤.."

Michael Bublé was previously confirmed as this year's host and joked that it's set to be a great night as the BRITs are all "about getting to hang out and get drunk with your favourite celebrities".
