This year's Isle of Wight Festival is shaping up to be quite the musical extravaganza and a host of new performers have now been added to the already impressive line-up. 

Kaiser Chiefs, Jonas Blue, Nothing But Thieves, Example, Texas, The Undertones and The Shires will all perform live at the festival, which is scheduled to take place between June 8-11. 

Tweeting about the exciting news this morning (January 19), Jonas Blue wrote: "YES! So happy to announce that I'll be playing @IsleOfWightFest this year.. See you there!"

Headliners for the 2017 edition of the much loved event include Sir Rod Stewart, Run DMC and Arcade Fire. Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival are on sale now from the official website.
