Christina Grimmie fans angered after she was left out of 'In Memoriam' at GRAMMYs

Fans of the late Christina Grimmie are furious that she wasn't included in the In Memoriam segment at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards ceremony last night (February 12).

Grimmie, who was murdered by a gunman last summer while signing autographs for fans outside of The Plaza Live in Orlando following a live performance, was missing from the run of musicians who have passed away over the past twelve months at yesterday's ceremony.

The likes of David Bowie, Leonard Cohen and Prince were honoured at the GRAMMYs, but the former contestant from 'The Voice' was noticeably absent from the line-up.

Grimmie's name, however, was featured on the GRAMMYs website under the In Memoriam section, but fans felt a tribute at the ceremony would have been more appropriate. 'The Voice' contestant Bria Kelly, from Season 6, tweeted: "@RecordingAcad Christina Grimmie worked tirelessly throughout her life to bring joy to people through the power of song; and you forgot her."

Another Twitter user wrote: |Why does Christina Grimmie ALWAYS get left out of these tributes? She may not have been the biggest star, but she had real talent."
