Blondie's Debbie Harry wishes she had written one of Muse's songs

Blondie's Debbie Harry has opened up about which song by another artist she wished she had written.

During an interview with Britain's NME magazine, for its 'Soundtrack Of My Life' series, the frontwoman explained that she loves Muse's distinctive style and would choose something from their back catalogue: "Something from Muse I guess. They have a marvellous sound that’s so distinctive, and beautiful songs.”

Blondie's guitarist Chris Stein then gave his answer, telling the NME: “I was just in my room playing ‘Going To A Town’ by Rufus Wainwright about five times in a row. It’s an amazing and moving piece of music.”

Blondie, meanwhile, will release their eleventh studio album 'Pollinator' on May 5 and some of the tracks on the record were written by SiaCharli XCX and The SmithsJohnny Marr. Find out more about the new album here
