Singer-songwriter Niall Horan has revealed that he missed the BRIT Awards due to studio commitments. 

The One Direction heartthrob is currently working on his highly anticipated debut solo album and admitted that all he seems to be doing at the moment is adding to the project: "I missed the show because I was in the studio until late. I'm gutted I couldn't be on stage with Liam to collect the award. I basically have no life now. It's pretty boring. I'm just working really hard on my album."

Horan, meanwhile, recently told Britain's Daily Star that he won't rush the record: "I am taking my time on it. I don't want to rush it. I said it would be out at the start of the summer but I might push it back now a small bit. I don't really have an idea. I'll keep writing until it's there and when it's there I'll let everyone know. It's not going to be all singles."
