Rapper 50 Cent has been accused of copyright infringement by a little known rapper over his 2007 hit song ‘I Get Money’.

New York rapper Caliber – real name Tyrone Simmons – filed the suit in Brooklyn’s federal court on Wednesday (December 15) claiming that the instrumental beat on ‘I Get Money’ was copyrighted in his name.

Fiddy is accused of infringement in the suit, but the song’s creator and several music companies are also named. The damages sought by Simmons have not been specified.
