Radiohead support bootleg of their Haiti benefit gig

Bands backing bootleg versions of their music is usually unheard of but Radiohead have expressed support for an unofficial video release of their Haiti benefit gig.

The performance took place in Los Angeles on January 24, 2010 and the multi-cam dvd has raised money for the cause, which resulted in the band praising Inez and Kii who worked on the project.

Bassist Colin Greenwood said:

"It's almost a year since we played at the Fonda in Los Angeles, a brilliant night that helped raise a lot of money for the earthquake in Haiti."

"Since then, Inez and other fans have compiled this DVD of live footage, you can download it here. Oxfam America have also been kind enough to set up a donation page on their site."

Fan Inez wrote on her own site about the release:

"It was a SPECIAL show with a SPECIAL purpose - to raise badly needed funds for those who lived through the devastation. And it seemed only appropriate that the DVD should carry on some of these goals."
