Ellie Goulding's first BRIT is "lonely"
Ellie Goulding is keen to win another BRIT at this year's ceremony as the Critics' Choice award she bagged last year "needs some company".
She spoke to the Daily Star about her nominations in both the British Female and British Breakthrough Act categories, and said:
“I’m really proud to be in the same category as Cheryl Cole for British Female as she’s a babe, and Laura Marling too, as she’s a friend. Cheryl and I are still hoping to work together but we haven’t had time yet.”
"I’m not really thinking about the BRITs as I don’t want to upset my brain. I’m abroad by the sea, somewhere a lot of people have written."
“There are lots of things which epitomise peace around me."
“It’s funny to be by myself but I’m getting used to it."
“And at the moment I have no idea what I’m wearing to the BRITs.”
