Bob Geldof doubts the UK

Bob Geldof has admitted that he feels there is little support for him in the UK.

The star, whose work for charity has been second to none over the years, explained to BBC's 6 Music that he expects his new record to do well everywhere except his native area. Geldof said of the album, entitled 'How To Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell':

"Bizarrely enough, people do buy my stuff, so I get to play great theatres all over the world,"

"Except in the UK, where they don't give a crap."
