Al Fayed says Jackson statue haters can "go to hell"

A statue of Michael Jackson was unveiled yesterday, April 2, outside of the Fulham FC stadium and Mohamed Al Fayed has told the press that anyone who doesn't like it can "go to hell".

Football fans have already voiced their opinions on the unveiling of the huge likeness of the King of Pop and Fayed, who famously invited Jackson to a game at the home ground back in 1999, hit back at them telling the BBC:

"If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift this guy gave to the world they can go to hell."

"If they don't understand and don't believe in things I believe in they can go to Chelsea, they can go to anywhere else,"

Responding to the criticism that Fulham FC's stadium was an unusual place to house the statue, Fayed exclaimed:

"Why is it bizarre? Football fans love it."
