Dave Grohl doesn't feel like an "incredible songwriter"

Dave Grohl, frontman of the iconic rock band Foo Fighters, reveals that he doesn't feel like an "incredible songwriter" despite the countless awards and hit records.

Speaking to Absolute Radio's Ben Jones, Grohl, who recently won NME's Godlike Genius gong, admitted that whilst he doesn't believe the hype he is definitely "humbled" by it:

"I don't feel like I'm an incredible songwriter that makes these incredible rock records. I'm humbled by the whole thing and I just sort of cross my fingers and hope that it sounds okay, or that people will dig it, or my band will dig it."

The band recently scored a UK number 1 with their new, and seventh, studio album 'Wasting Light', but Grohl added that his band mates are often quick to tell him if an idea doesn't work:

"There are some times where I'll write a song and Taylor will say 'That's not your best work'."
