Jamie Oliver announces food and music 'feastival'

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is combining his two passions, food and music, for a special 3-day festival event that he has rather appropriately named 'The Big Feastival'.

Headlining the music stages will be Soul II Soul, Athlete and The Charlatans, who will also be joined by New Young Pony Club and The Mystery Jets. 35-year old Oliver said of the exciting announcement:

"The Big Feastival is something unique that we’ve wanted to try for a while. A really good festival for everyone with great music and great food, all for charity."

It is set to take place on London's Clapham Common from July 1-3 and all profits from ticket sales will be donated to both The Prince's Trust and The Jamie Oliver Foundation, which raises funds to help disadvantaged young people.

Tickets are now available through Oliver's official website and you can watch Tim and Mark from The Charlatans perform for XFM's birthday here:
