A judge on the manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor has postponed the proceedings a week before they were due to begin. 

Dr. Conrad Murray was scheduled to start his trial next week, but on Friday (April 29) his lawyers filed a request to push it back even more. The plea was granted on the grounds of "need for fundamental fairness" and the trial will now take place in September this year.
