All about the money for Paloma

Paloma Faith says that life is “easier” now that she has more money to burn.

The ‘New York’ singer was talking about her work on new material, saying that this latest album is proving much less “traumatic” than her debut album ‘Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful’.

"I'm really enjoying it,” she said. “During the first album there was a lot of personal stuff going on, so it was a bit more traumatic. But now I feel like I have an easier life because I've got money.

"I was always poor before and it was really hard. I've got more space to reflect now."

About her new material, Paloma is particularly excited about a forthcoming song called ‘Cellulite’, but she thinks she might have to pack on a few pounds before she can sing it honestly.

"I'm really excited about a song called 'Cellulite'. It's really good,” she said. “The chorus goes, 'So take me the way I am/Because I am a rebel, I don't give a damn/Can you love me right?/Me and my cellulite?'”
