Former Westlife singer, Brian McFadden, has opened up about his ex-fiance Delta Goodrem's relationship with Nick Jonas. 

He spoke to Australia's Daily Telegraph today, May 23, about the 26-year-old's toyboy and said although he wants her to be happy, "if anyone hurts her they're dead":

"It's fine, you see it (the photo) and accept it for what it is,"

"It was positive. She looks happy, if she's happy I don't mind. She's on a date with a guy, she's got a smile on her face. If she's happy I'm happy. I'm a straight shooter. If I didn't like it I would have said something or cracked it on Twitter. I didn't mind."

The Irish musician added that he was aware of her new potential love interest, who is eight years her junior, before the photos and subsequent speculation hit the press:

"She told me about it beforehand, whatever makes her happy. But there's a warning from me, if anyone hurts her they're dead."
