Friendly Fires mocked by gospel group

Friendly Fires were mocked by a gospel choir for their hipster attire after hiring the troupe to accompany vocal parts on their new album, 'Pala'.

The band recruited the help of the Harlem Gospel Choir to guest on their latest record and frontman Ed MacFarlane told The Sun newspaper that the American singers found their clothes entertaining:

"They took the p*** out of our tight jeans and boots! Fashion is obviously different in Harlem to St Albans."

November will see Friendly Fires embark upon an extensive UK tour that is set to include their biggest ever date headlining at Brixton's O2 Academy. Catch them at the following venues:

  • November 10 - Bristol's O2 Academy
  • November 11 - Birmingham's O2 Academy
