Scissor Sisters want to debut new material at Lovebox

Scissor Sisters can't wait to perform at Lovebox festival in July and have promised a fantastic set with a possible premiere of some brand new material.

Singer Ana Matronic spoke to London's Metro newspaper about their headlining slot and explained that the band intends to debut a new song:

"I’m hoping that we’ll actually be playing a new song that people have not heard at all. I might get in trouble for telling you that but who cares. What are they going to do, fire me?"

She also set tongues wagging with a comment about a possible live collaboration between Scissor Sisters and another act scheduled to take the stage the same day:

"I’m hoping there is an onstage collaboration between us and another that is playing that day. We will leave the surprise for July."

The 'Take Your Mama' stars will perform at London's Lovebox on Sunday, July 17 and other artists appearing include Robyn, Blondie, Beth Ditto and Kelis so it will be interesting to see if a live duet happens during their show.
