Calvin Harris, Example and Ed Sheeran battle it out for No.1

Calvin Harris is well on the way to scoring the UK's No.1 single with 'Bounce', which also features Kelis, as he is already at the top of the midweek charts.

Tweeting to his fans about the track's overwhelming response, he wrote this afternoon (June 15):

"Thank u for all ur positive comments about Bounce, well happy u like it!"

Despite Harris' current lead, the Official Charts Company explained it could be "the closest battle for Number One this year" as there are only "a few thousand sales" separating him from Example's smash hit 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me', which has dropped to No.2, and Ed Sheeran's debut release 'The A Team' at 3.

Also new to the top ten in the midweek update are Tinchy Stryder and Dappy at 5 with their joint offering, 'Spaceship'.
