Take That at No. 1

Comeback champions Take That have leapt ten places back to No. 1 this week on the UK album charts with their latest record ‘Progress’.

The reunited boy band snapped the top spot away from Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Suck It and See’, which has since slid to No. 4. The top three is rounded out by two non-movers with Adele’s ‘21’ at No. 2 and Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ at 3.

The highest new entry this week is Paul Simon with ‘So Beautiful Or So What’ at 6 closely tailed by Eminem’s new project Bad Meets Evil with ‘Hell The Sequel’.

Other new entries include Frankie Laine ‘Hits’ at 16, Black Country Communion at 23 and Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s latest minimally promoted record ‘Make a Scene’ at No 33.
