Amy Winehouse’s ex husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been sentenced to 32 months in prison for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.

Fielder-Civil was arrested in Leeds on February 11, after police pulled over their car and found stolen electrical items and jewellery, as well as a fake gun and altered number plates on the car.

His accomplice, Christopher Sylvester, was also jailed for 32 months.

Leeds Crown Court heard how both men were addicted to heroin when they carried out the crimes and that the imitation gun had been bought by Sylvester because he feared attacks from drug dealers.

Amy Winehouse married Fielder-Civil in 2007, but they divorced in 2009 on the grounds of her infidelity.
