Man found dead in Glastonbury toilet

A man was found dead in the backstage area of Glastonbury festival this morning (June 26).

The man was revealed by Sky News to be Christopher Shale, chairman of West Oxfordshire Conservative Association.

Avon and Somerset Police have yet to release the cause of death for the man in his 50s, who was found in a portable toilet in the backstage area of the Worthy Farm festival at around 9am.

Mr Shale is a part of Prime Minister David Cameron’s Witney constituency office.
