Alicia Keys meets her wax likeness

Alicia Keys came face-to-face with her own likeness yesterday, June 28, as Madame Tussauds unveiled a waxwork in her honour.

The figure comes at a great time in Keys' career as she's celebrating the ten-year anniversary of her fantastic album 'Songs In A Minor' and is making great headway with her charity work, and she told MTV News that she's especially proud of making it into her native New York City's museum:

"It's incredible. It's really incredible, and I think it's so cool to be a part of the New York City part of the exhibit. I was born and raised here, this is my home, so it's so perfect."

"I actually think it's really, really good! I was looking close up: It's like my eyebrows are for real, and it's like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin, like, 'Look, that's my chin! That's my jaw!'"
