Devlin teams up with ChildLine for exclusive contest

Devlin, who will perform at this year's Reading and Leeds festival, has confirmed that he will launch a fan based contest with a very exclusive prize.

The 'Runaway' star has teamed up with ChildLine to offer a competition in which fans can submit their own final verse to his track, 'Tear Drops'. The winning entry will be decided by 'likes' or votes on Devlin's dedicated YouTube channel and will feature on the song. He said of the initiative:

"Tear Drops' is about feeling frustrated and lost, which is something I think most people have to deal with at some point in their life. All my lyrics are inspired by everyday life and writing is my emotional outlet so I can express my feelings and deal with them through a song."

"If I need to talk to someone about my problems and get advice I would usually go to my parents or close friends. ChildLine is another outlet for young people - it's always good to talk to someone. It can be hard at first but you do feel better once your concerns are off your chest."

The grime MC has also recently been confirmed as Jessie J's main tour support act and you can check out 'Tear Drops' below:
