Scouting For Girls have a race horse named after them

Scouting For Girls were at Epsom racecourse recently to celebrate having a horse named after them.

The 'This Ain't A Love Song' stars were excited at the honour and told the Daily Star newspaper that it's great, but their frontman, Roy Stride, is unnerved by the animals:

"When someone told us they wanted to name a horse after us, we were like: ‘How good is this?’. I’m actually pretty scared of horses. We were initially a bit dubious but then when they told us we didn’t actually have to ride it, we felt a bit better."

“It was a bit scary when it started whinnying at us.”

The horse ran in its first race yesterday, July 14 and you can watch the alternate ending for the band's 'Love How It Hurts' video here:
