Boyz II Men mark 20 years in music with new album

To commemorate their two decades in the music industry, R&B icons Boyz II Men are set to release their first new album in five years.

The group formed as a quartet in 1988 and released their first album, ‘Cooleyhighharmony’ in 1991. Remaining band members Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman are marking the anniversary of their first album’s debut with the double-disc, ‘Twenty’.

The album will feature re-recorded versions of Boyz II Men classics like ‘I'll Make Love to You’, ‘End of the Road’ and ‘Bended Knee’.

Shawn said in an interview: "From day one our fans have been amazing, they've seen us grow from boys to men, so we owe all our success to their continued support.”

"We started with a pure love for music, so to be here 20 years later still doing what we love has been a pure blessing," Wanya added.

The announcement of this album marks a big year for the trio, as it was also recently announced that they would be inductees of the 2012 Hollywood Walk of Fame.
