Alexa Chung and Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner have officially split up, a spokesperson for Chung has confirmed. 

The couple dated for four years, but decided to call it quits and have now gone their separate ways.

A spokesperson for the 27-year-old model and presenter explained to the press, "Sadly Alexa and Alex have split, although they remain close."

Turner's band, Arctic Monkeys, have a series of U.S gigs lined up for later this month, where Chung is currently based, and you can catch them at the following venues:
