DANA POINT, Calif., Aug. 9, 2011 -- Legendary alt-rock band Weezer have been added to the line-up for the Doheny Days Music Festival, September 10 & 11 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. To date, Weezer has sold over 10 million albums and is considered one of the most successful bands of the past two decades. Weezer's addition to the line-up enhances an already diverse mix of artists from the genres of rock, reggae, surf and roots music.

Alternative rock heroes, CAKE, are best known for their sarcastic lyrics and deadpan vocals, mixing white-boy funk, hip-hop, new wave pop and country twang to create their own unique sound. Eco-conscious and earth-friendly, CAKE recorded their latest album, Showroom of Compassion in their own solar-powered studio, and the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart in January 2011.  

A five-time Grammy-winning musician, actor, artist, activist and humanitarian, Ziggy Marley has established his presence on the public stage for over a quarter-century. "The rich, musical history of the Marley family has inspired fans for decades, and we are honored that Ziggy Marley will join us at Doheny Days," says Rich Sherman, promoter.

Also appearing at the festival is multi-Grammy Award winning guitarist Ben Harper, as well as G. Love & Special Sauce, Neon Trees, Donavon Frankenreiter, Katchafire from New Zealand, JJ Grey & Mofro, Common Sense and Blitz The Ambassador.
