Adam Lambert designs peace necklace for charity

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has embraced his creativity in a different way than fans will be used to and has designed a necklace for charity.

The 'Whataya Want From Me' star has created an edgy and modern pendant that will be sold to the public and the proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project, which is an organisation that helps to prevent suicide among the LGBT youth community.

A message on the website, through which fans can purchase the stylish item, reads:

"If the amount raised from the sale of the Peace Pendant reaches $75,000, Adam's fans will have contributed a total of $1,000,000 to Adam's many causes."

He explained to jeweller Tim Foster that he hopes the piece of jewellery will help to further promote the charity and, in turn, will spread the message of peace:

"I believe that peace is exactly what The Trevor Project promotes. Peace of mind, peace amongst our youth, and peace at home. With peace comes comfort and grace and that is my wish for All."
