Justin Timberlake performs free gig in NYC

Justin Timberlake performed his second free concert, less than a week after the first, in New York City. 

The 30-year-old singer/movie star was supporting the band 'FreeSol', also signed to his Tennman Record label. They performed a full set prior to Timberlake's appearance.

JT said, "For the record, I'm not trying to be a serious actor" according to People.com.

The free concert took place at the 1200 capacity Irving Plaza which opened its doors at 9:15pm with proceedings kicking off around 11pm. The former *N Sync frontman performed a selection of hits from his first two albums including 'Cry Me a River', 'Like I Love You' and 'What Goes Around, Comes Around'.

Timberlake has recently been in the headlines regarding his acting role in the new film 'Friends With Benefits', in which he stars alongside Mila Kunis.
