Grammy award winning producer and DJ, Sharam, is gearing up to release his most exciting compilation to date. The three hour mix, due for release on 11th October on Yoshitoshi Recordings, was recorded live at Warung Beach Club - Brazil’s most remarkable superclub – and stands as testament to Sharam’s genre bending sets and unique ability to rock the dancefloor.

When tropical clubbing paradise, Warung, on the south coast of Brazil, booked Sharam for a 10hr house music marathon set in April this year, he smashed all attendance records since the club opened with 4,500 clubbers turning up to hear his set.

Three of the most perfect hours of this night have been selected and lovingly presented in this must-have compilation, which contains a whopping 11 unreleased new and exclusive tracks. Sharam explains:

“Warung is the number one club in my book so it's a dream come true that I get to showcase to the world what went on musically last time I played there. Three hours of that magical 10 hour set is now engraved in eternity via this album.”

Part of this epic set was later featured as a prestigious Essential Mix on Radio 1, where Pete Tong described Sharam (also one part of Deep Dish) as: “on devastating form”. It was after the overwhelmingly positive reaction to this Essential Mix, that Sharam decided to turn his set into a proper mix compilation.

The album features tracks and remixes from Slam, Pirupa, Adam Beyer and Nic Fanciulli, plus Sharam’s anthemic track ‘Fun’, alongside Pig & Dan’s WMC Stormer ‘Detonate’. A further smattering of releases follow from Yoshitoshi including Tom Middleton and El Mundo & Satori, and Sharam’s own exclusive, unreleased track ‘Que Cubano’.

Warung state simply: “Sharam playing in Warung is legendary. He is part of our family”. They loved him so much that on 29th October Sharam will return to do it all over again.
