Sir Mick Jagger goes clubbing to keep fit

The svelte frontman of The Rolling Stones, Sir Mick Jagger, has said that he dances to keep the fat at bay.

The 68-year-old has said that keeping in shape is very important with his career but that he isn't hugely strict with dieting and exercise:

"I have very good genes and I don't put on weight. I still have a drink. I am not a fanatic about being in the gym for hours or pounding the pavements as that's detrimental."

While he does admit to going to the gym or going biking, his approach to fitness is to have fun:

"But dancing is really good and more fun than being in a gym. I go out clubbing...If you are in the country with nowhere to go, you just clear the furniture away and have a dance. That's as good for you as going out to the gym and working out on a bike."

'Moves Like Jagger' suddenly has a new meaning.
