Pop superstar Katy Perry has been taking her cultural experiences seriously on her California Dreams Tour and has enjoyed a taste of Great Britain. 

The 'Teenage Dream' hitmaker touched down in Sheffield on October 11 and the first thing she did was go in search of some good food. She wrote a message to her Twitter followers to tell them how she spent her day in the city:

"FINALLY! Beloved ENGLAND! 1st thing I did was stuff me gob w/some yorkshire puddings & meat pies from Silversmiths in Sheffield. Ah bless."

A day later, on October 12, she added "yes, proper beans on toast... I've missed you."
