Boys Noize shares his favourite tracks

The Guardian rifled through the record collection of the man behind Boys Noize, Alexander Ridha, and to little surprise, he has no Beyoncé or Britney records hidden away as guilty pleasures.

The man that is responsible for the remix of Feist's 'My Moon My Man' explains some of his favourite tracks.

The track I'll be opening my next DJ set with: SCNTST: 'Untitled'
"He's a 17-year-old kid who I just signed. He still lives at his parents' house near Munich and has only been to a club one time – and hated it – but he's developed a super fresh sound."

The track that should have been a crossover hit: Housemeister: 'Music Is Awesome'
"This should have been a No 1 hit; classic electro like 'Sunglasses At Night' or 'Kernkraft 400'."

The track that got me out of bed this morning: Pino D'Angio: 'Ma Quale Idea'
"My dad brought this seven-inch back from Ibiza and it got me dancing when I was a kid."

The track I wish I'd signed to my label: Daft Punk: 'The New Wave'
"The first single from these guys, and what can I say? Best career ever."
